most of these mallard lookalikes have a bigger breast and more pointy then the mallards i know about and there tail is more angled straight up any ideas of the correst name for them??

The most common Mallard lookalike is the Rouen. They're larger. Sometimes other breeds also slightly resemble a Mallard if you're not as experienced. smile.png

The big one with the green head is a Welsh harlequin and the small one next to him is a Mallard drake.

there the same size as a mallard not big like a rouen. but they are having rotton feathers and lay eggs pretty much year round when a mallard does around one time of year

They are both drakes.
