Breed and gender

I have a few chickens I was wondering what breed this might be and also if you think it's a rooster

Red Star, very good layers. Looks to be a hen

Thanks is it common for one hen to be dominate over the text this bird is very cocky like a rooster I'll get another pic

Yep, those are Red Star Hens.

It's definitely a pullet because the roosters are white with red splashed wings.

All flocks have pecking order, if you just have hens, the dominate hen will be on top. If you have a rooster he will be on top of the order. But I do have one hen who's not afraid to put him in his place if he get a little to aggressive with her.

Agreed; more commonly known as Red Sex Links. It's definitely a female as male Red Sex Links are primarily white. :o)
