Hi everyone! I just wanted to share an experience I had with a sick BCM. She came down with a cold and had an extremely swollen eye. It litterally sounded like she was drowning, the way she was breathing!!!!
I separated her from the flock, set her up in my garage with food and water and started giving her oil of oregano essential oil on a scrambled egg. I'm happy to say that within one day, her breathing went completely back to normal, and within 5 days, her eye is looking a lot better also.
