Ameraucana are definitely one breed that you want to be very careful about your sourcing due to the widespread misrepresentation/misinformation about the breed which often results in one getting Easter Eggers vs. the true bred birds they are seeking. Are you wanting exhibition quality birds?

Make sure that you have a good handle on the Characteristics of true Ameraucanas before you buy. I am looking for definitely looking for high quality bird and bloodlines. I do not show but understand the importance of quality. I have a small backyard flock right now if Silkies and a BCM which I spared no expense too. Trying to find close to home in CT so I can invest in bird verses shipping and travel expenses
