Might get some ideas herehttp://www.backyardchickens.com/t/597474/homemade-duck-feeders

I use goat feeders from TSC only because it comes with a metal hinge that keeps my chickens out of the feeder. What ever you use make sure they can't step on the edge and flip it over.

I use non-flippable metal dog dishes.

Please PM me, or use @Amiga in the message if you would like to hear from me soon.

I also use non-flippable, but mine are plastic. Made for goats maybe? Cost about $10 and holds at least 5 gallons of food.

We freeethrow our food to them.. They don't get feeders because we are afraid of overfeeding them, so we throw out a large scoop of food out in the dirt and the go to town!

I am a Proud Owner of a male American Black duck and two female Rouen's!!!

Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?

We use a hanging feeder. It hangs from the ceiling of the duck shed so they can't tip it over I their feeding frenzy. It works very nicely. I also use gallon jugs with a wide hole cut out of the top to feed the younger ducks while they're separated from the flock.
So this is where my John Hancock goes? Oh wait, John Hancock? Pffft...it's Herbie Hancock ;]
