Are you an animal lover looking to care for 3 adorable bantam hens?
1 white Silkie bantam hen (broody)
1 buff Brahma bantam hen (not broody)
1 black and white mottled Cochin bantam hen (the broodiest!)
All are a little over a year old and laying.
These girls need a little extra TLC right now as they've been battling a case of favus and scaly leg mite, both of which are almost cleared up, but the cochin does have a bald head right now as she grows back her feathers. This may or may not require a little more treatment by the time they're adopted. If you're a great caretaker and don't mind doting over 3 fluffy, good-natured pets that give you breakfast every morning, these are the girls for you.
The flock of 3 come with a coop and attached run, waterproof 50lb feed container with whatever Coutryside Organics food is left, and odds and ends like toys, sprays, meds, feeders, waterers etc.
We love these three dearly and they have been raised from chicks, but my husband and I began traveling for work a lot recently and are not able to give them the attention they deserve. Please understand we're very particular about who adopts them as they have been our pets, so we'd ideally like to do a site visit, or at the very least see photos of where you plan to keep them. We'd like all 3 to be kept together, as they are a bonded little flock. They love people and will let you pick them up.
Ideally no dogs. And not for meat.
They would make great mamas or surrogate mamas as two are often broody.
