I have 10 Rhode Island Red hens and was thinking of getting a rooster. Was wondering if my Rhode Island reds would make good mothers?

Are they pure bred or hybrid
If they are hybrid they will rarely go broody
Like you could have a hundred of them and not one might
Go broody.As they are produced to lay eggs
It's kind of the same story with the pure bred ones
They don't go really broody either.
Like it's rare for either to go broody
