Chicken Has Yellow Crust Around it's Face

One of our 22 week old black austrolorp hens looks like she has a problem. She mostly stays inside and her comb and face is very pale looking. She has this yellow crust-like stuff on her face. Does she have a cold or something? Here is some pictures I took.

. Did the condition appear worse before she died, and did any other chickens appear to have the same affliction? It may be a good idea to have the body sent off for testing.

Thanks. Zelda appeared to be getting better before she died but this morning my dad opened the door and she was lying there dead. No other chicken had the same condition.
