I know right! How do you think all the meat in my freezer felt lol
I cooked turkey last night, a huge meatloaf today, mom made beef hearts and livers, dad cut the rest of the liver up for the fish at the gun club ponds, All those meat birds I was so proud of I had the older sons and wives come get what they could cook, and the deer sausage and steaks. I still have a ton of burger to cook off, a few chickens and the fish I trashed, sucked huge box of haddock too. I am happy I pulled the ham a few weeks ago and cooked it off. what a waste, well I guess the only thing wasted was some beef liver, some being about 20 lbs or more.
Hate wasted food! Especially meat!I know right! How do you think all the meat in my freezer felt lol

Quote: well it wasnt really wasted, it will feed others, like my older kids, but the majority my mom had to take and I know it will end up feeding someone somewhere, she cooks and bakes non stop. And the fish eating the liver in the ponds is good, because the kids love to fish for the cats in there!!

The church gave us their extra freezer a while back & it's in better shape than either of the two we already have, so we're o.k. unless the power goes out for a long time; no generator. The problem is, it's a chest freezer, which I prefer over an upright, but it's hilarious watching DW, at 4' 9", standing on a stepstool trying to reach the bottom. One of these times I'm gonna have a camera handy
