My flock is alive, but I just checked the coop, and I now know that I need to do things differently next time. No food. No water. The eggs were covered in yolk in the one nestbox. I'm not worried considering the number of eggs in there.

I think those things could find a lizard here. Once a rattle snake was killed by the side of our road. The wasps had pretty much stripped it. I planned on getting the skeleton when they were finished with it. All that was left was the last few inches and the full skeleton was ready. Drove around the corner on the road home and a buzzard was flying off with it.
6-8 stay around here all the time. Had to move their feeding grounds as it as it lined up with new neighbors pool.
Good to be home.
Very. I've been drinking since I got home. That was a ... Trip I don't want to do ever again. I don't like people apparently.

Camping with family.
Camping here isn't any fun. A scout has to go out a day or so ahead and get the site then the rest follow. Really don't see the fun in that. Wall to wall people.

Just let my broody (Cindy) out to free range with her babies. I don't think I am ready!!! It's hard to watch that many. LOL
LOL! I just grab one if I want to hold it.
The mom will be fine. The babies know to keep close, and she will rescue any that get lost.
I guess I'll candle my broody's eggs tonight. I hate going out there after dark. I had a dream that they were all clears.
