I'm sure the USPS doesn't care that I'm obsessively checking tracking info on my eggs. I would love an update. They left Tampa last night. They must be somewhere in the path of severe thunderstorms and tornadoes. I just want to know an approximate spot. I can't wait until Friday!!!

I use straw from day one. Never had a problem. I use it in the brooder and the houses.Hi everyone! I watched the video of the impacted crop surgery....gross is an understatement. It looked like hay/straw she was pulling out. I have always used wood chips in with my baby chicks, but when I move them outside, I just started to use straw. I have now read that impacted crop is somewhat common with straw. Should i not use it with the 8 -12 week ones? What does everyone here use?
