Sally, still doing the physio routine, mostly muscle strengthening now (again). :idunno

Fires to the northwest in Fort MacMurray are still raging, but they are at least moving away from the populated areas and the mining and oil sites.
That's the one on the news everywhere. It is more than 600 miles north west of us, but it still has been a tragedy for so many people in that area.

Closer to home, the two fires east of us (about 60 miles) are growing, but the weather is cooperating. It started raining in this area yesterday and has cooled off considerably. They are still not in control, but the firefighters are at least keeping it at bay for now.

Sorry to read about your pup, hope you get that resolved soon. :fl

If you will leave it open (which you should), you definitely need hardware cloth over all openings. That unless you want to wager how long it will take raccoons to get in.

Thank you, we keep working on it, meds are costing us so we have to decide what to do with the vet.

it sure is, but the bear has to have considerable complaints and if I remember right has to create a certain dollar value of damage.... Grrrr

I just wondered how with no ledge, but I cut a piece. I am going to nail it to wood, and screw that to the building over the window.
