That one will be India Blue Pied! Perhaps like this one from: http://www.texaspeafowl.com/images/blpi.JPG -Kathy
Shalom Kathy This kind of coloration is considered more then the wild type coloration? I personally prefer the WT
I have to agree with you Benny - although the color mutations are cool and the birds beautiful, nothing beats the India blue peacock, or a green hen.

A third wind. :lau

:rant That was a very long night! I must get some sleep!

I agree. It can come in handy.

Now I got 3 rockers while this ones trying to hatch! 2 are due now today and one in 2 days

:fl

Day 7 here, candled the eggs in the incubator & it looks like 4 are developing, 2 EEs & 2 marans/orp crosses.  Haven't candled the ones under the broodies yet.

The broodies are sharing a nest box & they keep stealing each other's eggs & growling at each other. I hope this doesn't mean they will fight over the chicks...

Don't candle broodies. Especially if they are already that stressed.

Starring at the eggs... starring at the eggs... need coffee... starring at the eggs...

:gig

Unfortunately you are right, even when I go to bed very late, yesterday (or actually today! ) it was 2:30 am i still get up 6:15-6:30 am! 4 ouers of sleep aren't so bad .

Ditto on internal alarm clock. I need 6 hours thrown in there every few nights.

Ok so I didn't want to worry, but 2 of the rockers have smaller air cells and I am a bit worried about where the chick will pip. Is it ok to pip straight out of the shell without popping into the air cell?
Yes sometimes they will pip straight through the shell, this is usually from malpo chicks and the pip is both internal and external. They usually hatch just fine on there own.

Good luck with your eggs. I've got 4 broodies that are all sweethearts. I never candled any of there eggs either.
