This one is small compared to the other chicks, especially the other brahmas.
400
They are all pretty little chicks:)

my pox survivals are skinny too although they eat a lot (grower feed till they put some weight on). some of them had diarrhea due to worms. when I wormed them I found different worms expelled with their poop. I suggest you worm your chickens.

I have been messing with her poop all morning and no worms. Trust me!!! Hahahaha!!! Foul smelling though. She is the inly one with the problem. I give them apple cider vinegar 2x a year. They technically are not due till January.

good job!  can you get better pics of how it is done, I have nothing to show the boy how to do it that way!!!!

Sure but it'll have to wait until after work :( It seemed like the leg was out of joint or something. Everytime it tried to walk it would pop out or that's what it seemed like. He/she would end up walking on his elbow joint. I initiallyour attempted to attach the two legs together but that didn't go very well...he couldn't walk at all then. I used a medical tape and got it back into place and then wrapped the leg in the tape creating a cast like getup. I wrapped it pretty tight so the elbow wouldn't pop back out. I then wrapped his hip up to try to get him to stand/walk on the leg correctly. I really didn't have much hope for the little thing. I headed off to work after that and when I got home he was walking on it :) I think he heard me talking about culling him and wanted none of that...so he showed me he was worth saving. Doing great now, I'll check the leg tonight.

The bater is made from an old fridge from an RV. It keeps the temp pretty stable. The window (2 layers plexi glass) is probably bigger than recommendet, but I like seeing what's going on inside ;)
If you have trouble with the translation or have questions about the bator, feel free to ask

thank you and I will!

It's fun to see all the new chicks. Congratulations. I've been following along just not talking to much. I'm too new to have much advice. I've been reading up on coolerbators and trying to decide if I should try and make one. And there is a used wine cooler for sale in my area for $30 that keeps tempting me to buy it and make it into a incubator.
