my flock has sneezed occasionally for some time....... well over a month they don't seem to get worse no other symptoms at all. I have been told this is not normal and to have them tested for MG.... but it seems like they would get worse or better or the situation would change in some form if they where sick.

they have pine bedding int he coop and sand in the run.

I hear maybe like 2 sneezes in an hour if I am out with the flock sometimes less I'll have to like actually keep track sometime soon.

I have a feeling its normal but maybe I am wrong.....

if you are only hearing 2 in an hour then i would not worry about it

If its just sneezing and no mucous or lethargic behavior, then its likely that they're getting some dust from somewhere... Possibly all the harvests going on; I'm blowing corn dust out at the rate of an ear a day right now lol ;)

Did you do anything different a month ago? Use a new brand of shavings? Dust the coop? Anything different at all?

You know I did change the brand of pine shavings they are still pine though didnt think about that. I havent heard them really sneeze since the other day. I think it could be because i was cleaning their run with them in it!
