Look what was waiting for me when I went to let the chickens out:

I was thinking the girls were all reddening up, but it's still the middle of winter here!

I finally got around to fermenting their food and they are so happy - they stuff themselves silly on it. Mostly I've done it because I don't like watching the ducks almost choke on the dry stuff.

We are supposed to get about an inch of rain today. All the mud was just starting to dry out and not cling to your boots too. Then we have 4 days of potential thunderstorms! Good thing I've got lots of housework to catch up on.

Howdy, all! I've got miles and miles to catch up on everything, but want to pop in and say hello and share a picture:

Chewy and baby are doing good. You can see his little horns now!

I hope everyone is doing well.

Hi Meg! Love the pictures, baby is getting to be a big guy. I think you need another 5 or 6 of them :D

Sorry to hear about the diagnosis, hope the docs come up with a treatment that helps.

Don't be such a stranger!

Thank you, me too! We open on Thursday as long as no one gets sick between now and then. As far as I know we all were negative. A couple board members and a couple families are pushing for masks. I told my boss if that happens she can fire me. She sent out a group text and asked our opinion. We have a meeting Thursday after work to discuss the Covid epidemic.

Especially with this view! :D It quit raining before we left home. It’s nice and cool. I actually had to bring out a blanket.

Beautiful egg, congrats!
Me too. I stopped on the way home and picked Kudzu for the goats. Need to get changed , and go give her a bottle.
Goats love Kudzu! When I kept goats years ago, I was always stopping by the side of the road and collecting foliage and such for them. (The goats had consumed every last living and nonliving morsel in the yard :D ) I swear, people must have drove past and wondered what the heck this lady was doing!

Did you used to live in the south Leyla? I thought kudzu only grew down there (but I could sure be wrong).
