HELP!!! Small Black Soft Scale on Chicken Leg????

One foot has a soft squishy like scale, its dark and blackish. Its only on one side, though the otherside is kinda raised, I've never seen this on her or any of the rest of the flock before....

What is it, what can I do it help it, will it go away on its own or does it need help?

A proud member of 4h and a strong bearer of the Pacific Northwest and its Cold, not to mention a chicken mommy of 3 Cochins, 1 Sicilian Buttercup, 2 Bantam EE, 1 RIR/EE Mix, 1 Mille Fleur Booted Bantam, and 2 bantam OEGB's, a Black Bearded Silkie and a double laced silver Plymouth Bantam!

It's a wound.  It'll heal.
