Hi, my name is Bryson and I am going to start my flock in the spring. I just wanted to say hi and if you have any suggestions and/or comments please tell me! Thanks!

Welcome to Backyard chickens. The Indiana chickeners can certainly fill you in on what breeds do best in the climate, what predators to watch out for etc. Check out the coops section on BYC, and the predator threads. Things go so much better when you are prepared and not just 'winging it.'

whoops, forgot to mention the Learning Center is jam packed with information. It can answer questions you don't even know you have yet. No joke, it's the best place to start a poultry education.

Welcome, glad you have joined us.

Good luck with your planning.

In addition to the exploring the Learning Center and Coops section, the advice I wish I had listened to is to build your coop and run larger than you think - it is always in the top 10 "what would you have done different" lists. And from personal experience, so much easier to build before the flock moves in rather than adding on.
