So I just bought myself an incubator at the bay along with 20 seramas hatching eggs. I'm new to this hobby anything else I should know besides controlling the temp and humidity? Any tips are appreciated.

Congratulations :clap

I would recommend you get another thermometer and hygrometer to double check the temps and humidity. The incubators often say they are factory set but many turn out not to be. I always double check before setting eggs and after running the incubator for a while. It's always best to double check just to be sure.
This article is also a good read, it has all you need to know about incubating ~ https://www.backyardchickens.com/a/hatching-eggs-101

Wishing you the very best of luck with your eggs, hope you have a great hatch :fl
