You are not smelling CO2 you are smelling whatever you burnt.    Furthermore you said "a Leak" something burning is not and cannot be considered a leak.


I bet you're glad you never had me for an instructor,  as is your GPA.


BTW Please amend your science notes.  If a substance burns completely or nearly so, there is no C02 produced also, as the O2 is completely used in the combustion stage and there is none left to combine with C to make CO2.


Also CO2 cannot burn and is in fact an ingredient in fire extinguishers.

My little bantam Cochin decided to bite the crap out of my hand tonight. But it was dark so I assume he was just scared and he was backed up in the corner of his cage. He did look awful scared and didn't do anything till I touched him... I am just saying this is my fault cuz he has never but me in the light or when he can at least see me.
