I do have a wonderful dentist now. He is close to retirement and has reassured me that as long as he can stand up he won't leave me. I seriously hate the idea of finding a new dentist. Makes my chest feel tight. Horrible, horrible things happened in the dentist office while growing up. I would grab hold of the arm rest and be as stiff as a board as he merrily drilled away.

I love this thread! Each of us have out little conversations to tell and each of us read them and say hmmmmmmmph. Isn't that interesting. The grandparent stories, the weather happenings around the state - what Jerry's doing down south - what ILL is doing over there in No Dak and now Mordecai (? you know who I mean) in SD. Love it.

Ralphie I don't mind the dentist. He is my great uncle... He lives in Oakes ND and has a mansion... Wouldn't it be nice to make a fortune just for torturing someone?

Well I am on my way to Ice Cracking for supper...
 
Our dog isn't doing well either.... She has a calcium build up in her spinal column which is putting pressure on her spinal cord... She is in pain and had a hard time walking... The vet can't do anything so he gave her pain meds and something else... Now she is just doped up... I think she should be put down but others think different... If she was happy I would think different but she isn't happy and I don't agree with keeping her alive... This is reminding me of the movie Me Before You in a way lol...

Sorry about your dog, it's so sad when they aren't feeling good. How old is she, what breed?
 
Tore ACL. Surgery is $3000 and That's way to much for a dog so she's in the house for now. She is also on a diet since she was a but overweight, it doesn't help that shes 1/4 Australian Shepard 1/4 border collie, and 1/2 great Pyrenees.
