I always feel my meals aren't very creative, but the family likes them and that's what counts. Especially when we do lower carb, it's meat and a veggie and seems kind of plain.

Went to Winco and spent $137. Should be about it for the month, but I may need a quick trip next Monday, we'll see. Either way I saved quite a bit this month toward that beef.

Thanks for the dinner welcome Rachel, lol! Way to go on saving towards the beef

I've been buying strawberries also. Strawberries, bananas and yogurt are a great snack for anyone

In April (I think) we have a guy who parks in an empty lot and sells strawberries from the back of his truck. I've bought berries from him for several years. A flat is like $22, if I remember right. It's a great deal, and the first one of the year I bring home and it just disappears in like two days. Then The Locusts slow down a bit and I can use them to make jam or whatever. But those fresh berries are so good, we all tend to gorge on them.

Strawberries and asparagus are first on my list for our new place.
