Coop Kits - Advice

I remember the Princess.

I worked on the Surfrider; Capt Rick Marchetti. We used to submit pics to Bill all the time. Had several of our pics put in the paper.

Hmmm, I don't remember the Surfrider, sadly. I do remember the Miss Sebastian, even the ancient wooden boat that almost sank off the south jetty of Sebastian Inlet, and later a few others. The Rogue Wave was a boat I fished on a few times - awesome little boat, caught some beautiful snapper and grouper off her. I can't remember the captains names at all, its been 25 years since I worked on party boats. Yeah the Pelican was purchased by the Miss Cape Canaveral later and then they sold the business and now its the Orlando Princess or something like that.

Anyhoo - I would prefer to stain the wood with some weather-proofing sealant rather than painting - I do have some old paint that might work, but they are ugly pastels - nasty - from when we painted my daughter's room last.

I sent you my number, feel free to call when you have some time.

Yes, we docked next to the Rogue Wave with Capt Bill. I worked on party boat too but it was only there about 2 years and went under financially (not sunk). Don't remember it's name but that was back in '06.

Stain will work great. Just making sure it's water proofed.

2006 is when I left the newspaper, actually. I started guiding beach fishing in 2005, but had a surprise when my son decided to make an appearance in 2007 and have been too busy as a single mom with him and my teenage daughter to really get back to it. My back has also gotten worse .. stinks getting old - so I've been out of the fishing information loop for ages. I so miss getting offshore.

Its neat finding another grouper head, I bet we could swap some funny stories.
