Hello!
This is the coop I made recently. I will be getting some meat birds next spring, but got a jump start on a coop. Where I live,I might still have snow when I get the chicks,so wanted to make sure they had a coop when they are ready to go outside. My coop os actually made from fruit crates! I tipped them on their side, and put their top openings together and joined with the outside boards. Onto the question! There are 2 doors, one for the chickens, one for me to access to clean. What would be the best door ideas. Hinges? A door that can slide open? Any pics or tips would be great! Thanks in advance!

Hinged from the top would be a good place to start. You could mount some type of clasp at the bottom and at the top so you could lock the door shut or secure it fully open. Since this is your first coop, start with something simple and low cost. If there's a better door suited to your coop, I bet you'll figure it out after you use the original door for a little while.

This isn't my first coop,I made one for my chickens I already have. I made the main door a hinged screen door, and a side access door with hinges on top,and a hook to latch it shut. This one is a bit different as the access door is on the outside of the fenced area. Just wondering the easiest door for the inside.
