Help! Rabbit with cluster of abscesses

but the staff doesnt see any reason they won't cover the vet bill
That's great. Yes, it's hard when you've already bonded with a new pet, but there's no way you should have to pay the amount of money surgery and medication will set you back. I'm glad they are doing the right thing.

Pickles isndoing much better. The vet lanced the abscesses and drained them. She is on an nsaid and antibiotics. The pet store did pay the bill. Every day they look smaller and smaller. She hates taking the medicine but hey so does my 4 yr old when she is sick. Lol I have mastered force feeding meds. Here is a picture before treatment and one the next day after they were lanced.

hear hear! You are, for sure. It can't be easy having to deal with this with a new pet (let alone a long-standing one). So glad she is doing better and that the pet store looked after its responsibilities. Yay!

(when she's all recovered, you'll have to post a beauty shot of all of her.)

I will. Have to take it from her good side. Lol. They shaved the area so they couns lance it. Looked so much worse that I realized once she did that. Poor girl. She os a trooper. Licked the vets hand while she was draining them. She's a lover.
