Yes, I sold one to a lady, and to my dismay, it has turned out to be one of the very rare hens to lay an egg. She bought her because Charcoal hens do not lay eggs and she did not want chicks. That hen is a goldmine to the right breeder. I sold all of my Charcoal stock because of the side effects of the cocks going blind within a few years and I did not want to be part of that.
