Round egg carton

Thread Starter

Since I only have four chickens, we don't have a great abundance of eggs.  However, I do like to give them to friends and neighbors from time to time.  Since I only give them six, and because my eggs are blue, white and brown, I like to have a nice presentation for them.  I have found a Clean Round Egg Carton, which shows off the egg colors and is a bit different from anything I have seen.

Got them at Randall Burkey.com - not cheap, but if you're just in it for the fun of it like I am, they are strikingly different from any  I've ever seen!

I love to give people eggs for a favor! People at work love to get fresh eggs! Not sure if I would pay for a fancy carton, but it is a fun gift to give.

They are cool....

..but with $8 shipping, not an indulgence I can afford.

Great article on VENTILATION, one of THE MOST IMPORTANT aspects of coop design.

Fantastic treatise to help decide how much SPACE your chickens need.

Chicken math is not just 'addition'...but also should include Division, Multiplication and especially Subtraction!!!

Quoting centrarchid:

"Make every effort to understand your chicken's biology and the environment that supports it."
