Chicken wire keeps chickens in. It does not keep predators out as it's easy for them to chew right through chicken wire. Please consider 1/2" hardware cloth for at least the bottom few feet of your pen.
 
Thanks for the info. I'm going to do the welded wire 6 feet high then go up 2 feet of hard ware cloth and burry a foot in the ground to go along with it
