Possible frost bite on Comb Bleeding now

This same bird pictured above about 9 months after the frostbite. His comb's appearance has not changed even after two additional years.

I would still do the blue kote but that is me. DH2B raised cattle before and swears by the stuff plus it would keep the other birds from pecking at the blood, is an antiseptic to ward off infection, and would help to dry up and stop the bleeding. If the other birds did try to peck it it also seems to deter them with more than just the color but the taste. We will always have blue kote around, we have used it on cockerals that have fought(establishing pecking order) and are banged up, and on frost bite on combs and wattles. Just my two cents hope this helps.
