Hands on hatching and help

He is doing really well, the belly is closed and dry and not swollen any more. He drank a little more electrolytes. But his sibling is pecking him because he is smaller and weaker :(

:( how are they doing today? :fl

Well he made it through the night again and his sibling is just tearing the place up so I think he is in the clear!

He definitely has leg problems though :( One of his little legs keeps going out to the side and he doesn't go up on his feet he sort of hobbles on his legs. I think i should do something today, the longer it stays like it the harder it's going to be to correct. Do you know of any splinting techniques? I gave this guy my all to save him and it looks like he will live so I don't want him to live in pain and discomfort :(

Not sure what his leg issue is exactly, maybe you could look at this link to help you diagnose?

I'm pretty sure one spraddled leg. Just one of his legs slips straight out to the side if he tries to stand up. With the little device on he can stand more normally. Without it he can only hobble on his legs not his feet of that makes sense. Otherwise whoop there goes one leg. He wasn't on a slippery surface of anything just he was early i'm pretty sure from severe saddled air cells they ran out of room too fast.

I will read the link now for more clarification thankyou :)

Also I am giving game bird starter crumbles which they seem to like. The guy at the feed store said I don't need more niacin but I'm guessing he's wrong? I cannot find the nutritional breakdown anywhere not even online! Should I get brewers yeast anyway today especially in light of the leg issues? Or is there a risk of too much niacin?
