What day did you open incubated eggs?

Egg level is where you should be monitoring temp. With a still air, you also need to move the eggs periodically to make sure they all incubate evenly, not just rotating. Moving them from one spot to another will ensure that none spend the whole time in a hot or cool spot. And here I was thinking I killed them with the higher temp! Here is a picture of the inside of the bator showing the location of the temp probe, just incase that matters. Does the rule of higher temp in still air bators apply when your temp probe is at egg level vs the top portion of the bator? Thanks!
Nope! And there were no veins developing?
Constantly adjusting incubator is not a good idea....it can take a few hours for the thermostat in incubator to compensate for ambient changes.UPDATE: help!
Okay, so I'm still having no luck!! I'm thinking this just isn't the right incubator for me. I'm having a lot of trouble keeping the temperature right.. whenever the temp fluctuates in my house it also fluctuates in the incubator.. I just don't know how to deal with this issue! I've got my heat set to 70 degrees in the house, day and night, but in the afternoons of some days it gets a bit warmer outside and my house will go up to 73ish degrees so then the Incubator goes up a degree or so (so i have to turn it down)... Then house cools off and incubator is too cold! Ugh!
