Welcome and i hope that you enjoy being a member as much as the rest of us.

All the best

Thank you :D It will be nice to feel somewhat normal with talking about chickens :P I've been going through the coop designs, so many incredible things people have built!

I will endeavor not to mention the R word ;)

I reckon my wife secretly funds BYC and so i don't bore her with my chicken talk! Some people are indeed very creative when it comes to coop designs - I'm not, so i use my garden shed :). I'm sure you will endeavour "really hard" not to mention to R word! :lau

Cheers

Welcome to BYC! I'm glad you joined us! :)

I set fire to the rain! Watch it pour as I, touched your face. Well it burn while I cried, because I heard it screaming out your name. And I threw us into flames. I knew that was the last time, the last time...I set fire to the rain! -Adele

You may want to put  "New Zealand thread,"  in the search box to see if there is one.  That would be a great source of information that is local for you.   Welcome to Backyard chickens.

Did a moth know that the flame was going to change her life forever, or did she simply fly towards that heated embrace, knowing it would offer her something she couldn't give herself? In the end, the answer didn't really matter. The moth had never wanted the choice. -Joey W. Hill-
