Ok so after reading articles from more experience chicken lovers and breeders I have moved my week or more chicks out near my coop in a separate brooder using a heat lamp and so far so good... Hopefully everyone will adjust over night.

Sad to say that didn't work... I lost a few and ended up bringing them back in side..... Heavy is my heart....
 
Oh no! What happened? How many did you lose? They just got too cold? What were the temps like?
 
The temp outside was upper 40s... No I think I had a bad batch, even before I put them out I lost a few by the time I got them home, plus they had runny stools. They weren't huddled together but separate so I don't think they were cold. My older 4 wks were ok accept for one. So I'm just not sure.
