Very early Chick

OK Pfields. One of the two has since fully hatched. Pretty little thing. The other is still doing nothing although I can see him moving in the shell. I'll give him till tomorrow afternoon, and then I'm going to slowly chip some shell away for a fresh zip and see what he does. Thank you so much for your input. I'll let you know what happened ok?

Good morning everyone! Well, happy to say that the little guy was up and running around when I checked them this morning.

But on a sad note, the little one that came too early didn't make it. I know I'm going to lose chicks, but it still sux. We gave it a good try. I thought I had a really good average though considering 11 out of 15 hatched that had been shipped through the Postal Service during a bitter cold snap. My thanks to everyone for the advice and support. Feels like this is a great community. I'll be back!
