Over the winter I received two silkie pullets and four chicks. They've all grown up a lot more now and with the warm weather I decided to put them in with the other hens and Roo. I brought them out to check them over for any showing disqualifications and while I was searching my one bearded I found tiny white balls in its feathers. Are these Some type of eggs? I dusted my chickens every week over the summer but haven't done It since I also just cleaned the coops yesterday. I will upload pictures when I get home, but I want to be sure that that's what they are. I wasn't looking very closely on their skin so I don't know if anything on them is crawling around, all I spotted were those little white balls. Please help? If this is a parasite I would love to get them treated.
