Hello
I am planning to start breeding SOP quality chickens. However, my only breeder hen died a few months ago. The breeds I am interested in are Ameraucanas, Campines, Hamburgs, Plymouth Rocks, true-blue rose comb Rhode Island Reds, Buckeyes, Wyandottes, Sebrights, and Seramas. However, i can only focus on one. I have been lurking on BYC for a while now and have seen the problems with trying to find and breed true birds. Are there any breeders of the above breeds in or around the NC area? Any comments, advice, tips ,and warnings on certain breeds or breeding is appreciated. Thanks.
