I would guess by the comb size at that age it's a cockerel.

If it is a cockerel when would i see a wattle?
I would also guess cockerel because of the size and color of that comb. 'His' wattles should be coming in very soon.

Is this the start of the wattle? The man we bought the chics from doesnt think he made a mistake and that we need to wait much longer to judge if it is in fact a rooster. He hasnt seen a picture of what it (he) looks like now.
