It begins again with the same introduction: I thought these were both cockerels, but their light feathering is making me wonder (big surprise, right?
). Again, I know 2 weeks and a day is really early to know for sure, or even put a finger on it at all. Seeing how my bantam Wheaten AM cockerel, Ling, has feathered out has kind of given me an idea, though, of what juvenile SF cockerels would look like. I'll add one last thing; these are not hatchery stock but are bred to the standard, so I'm pretty sure that if they are pullets, they won't feather in dark.
Here they are in relation to Ling, who is about a week older.
I don't see any dark roots like those that came in on Ling's shoulders at this age.
