If our hen is eggbound could we be able to see, touch or feel it between the pubic bones? or would it be a deeper inspection?

I need to get help bc I am pretty sure mine is bc whining and felt like egg in vent area. But we have been doing warm soaks, calcium and nothing
Can you put on a glove and insert a lubricated finger about an inch and see if you feel and egg?
