Hello,
I'm working on my coop/run design. I thought I was all finished, but now I'm worried about the thing racking over. Below is a picture of the basic framing for the front wall (no trim or anything applied here). Coop is to the left, run to the right. The "stud" spacing on either side of the door entry is about 3'. The building will have a similar wall for the back side, 2' shorter, and will have a sloped roof. I don't have much to prevent racking without any sheeting going on the right side besides hardware cloth. I was wondering the hardware cloth would work like sheeting and provide sheer strength? I'd prefer not to add more studs and bracing in order to keep the run fairly open.
Thanks for any input!
