My chicks are a month and about 4 days old, almost fully feather. When is a good time to move them outside? Currently on the 23rd of March it is 61 degrees.

In order to prepare your chicks for their transition to their coop, it's good to take them outdoors for little field trips. According to the temperature, it may be for only fifteen minutes at a time at first. You will watch for their reaction to being away from their warm brooder, huddling together instead of joyfully running and flying, and bring them back inside. Try to choose days when the sun is out and no chill wind is blowing.

Gradually increase the time each day until the chicks are acting comfortable with the outdoor temp. That will be your signal they're ready to move out of your house and into the coop.
