Going to our Rural King for nothing but feed and bedding led to coming home with those items in addition to 6 Easter Egger chicks!

Cute! We did have 2 Easter eggers but recently 4 of our chickens died one Easter egger. A coon got two of our chickens and we are not sure why the other two died they were only 2 years old. They just had got done molting and then they died it might have been the first egg got stuck and they couldn't get it out we tried to help but it was no use. They died the next day in the nesting boxes. It was a very hard time for me and I still can't get over it they were my life. Now we only have 2 chickens a EE- Easter egger and a RIR- Rhode island red

Words can't explain my sadness over your loss....

I'm very sorry. But one thing is for sure, they knew they were loved every day, and you gave them the best life possible.

You're right, EEs lay quite well! What colors did you get out of yours? Mine have laid several shades of green, as well as one special girl giving us blue.
