Hens yesterday! :) 2 Cochins and a Delta. My Alpha hen is NOT happy about this at all. She and the Delta both have bloody combs as a result. Hopefully they will get used to each other.

If your alpha continues to cause trouble, separate her for a few days to help take her down a few notches in the pecking order.

Good idea. :) I've been keeping the new girls in the run for today and only letting one newbie out at a time to roam with the older group of hens. It seems to be helping a little. I know that pecks will happen but they were fighting each other like rooster! 0_o hope they can adjust
