Hi there, I have 4 dom chicks for the first time. Wondering if anyone wants to hazard a guess at my odd one that might be male.
They were hatched on March 15, so 2 wks old tomorrow.
3 of the 4 have sprouted tail feathers. The one you see with stubby butt, not much of a tail, is the one I am suspicious of. It also has a bit of a spikey looking ridge on the beak.
If it is just going to be an odd looking dom, I don't care at all. Just have my hens for laying.
It has some dark wash coloring on the feet/legs as female doms. It has some dark on the beak as female doms.
Doesn't the mystery of waiting to see just drive us nuts?!?
