I bought 4 silkie chicks I am not allowed to have roosters so am trying to find out the gender before they start crowing if possible. This guy looks very different from the others - is always the first to charge toward food when its given and seems to be the most dominate in the bunch. he chest bumps with another suspected roo and if any other bird finds a bug he charges over and trys to steal it - I am assuming its a roo so have made arrangements for a new home for it but I just want to be sure before I have him picked up - am I correct is this a roo?
