I’ve always had great success with the hatchery I go through, this time I am wondering, is this a hen or roo? I know for sure another one is a roo from same order but he crows and has the tail feathers. This one hasn’t crowed, tail feathers are iridescent but no sickle yet, and I’m concerned about the hackle looking feathers but this is also a mixed breed…
This one is huge compared to others but that doesn’t mean much as I’ve had one huge chicken that we call gigantica that was a “lakeshore”egger which was what the hatchery created before the “lakeside” egger
