Hi! I bought chicks from TSC today and I got 4 ISA Brown pullets and 2 unsexed assorted Bantams. I was wondering if anyone knew what breed these are?

The tan one has fuzzy feet! So cute. Any opinions would be appreciated!

Here's the fuzzy footed one. I knew I would have to wait for the gender but I didn't know if you could tell the breed before they feather? This is my first time with chickens. They are so sweet! I just checked on them and when they saw me they all started peeping

Yep, it's the same with the breed I'm afraid. Many breeds of chickens look alike when they are chicks.

Your 'fuzzy footed one' is probably a Cochin because that is the most common feather footed bantam you can get from TSC. :)
 
Thank you so much! My fuzzy footed one also had pasty butt which I didn't know until I got them home :( I've been keeping the vent wiped off but is there a way to get it out of the poor baby's down?

You could but I don't see much point to it since she will get rid of it anyway when she grows feathers. If you do want to get rid then fill a small container with warm water and soak her behind. It will loosen it enough to get it off. :)
 
So I soaked the poop covered one in water, just its feet and butt bc the poop was just accumulating and I blow dried it so it didn't freeze to death, my house is pretty cold today even though they have a lamp. But now it's just standing there breathing hard and won't stop peeping. It did poop and groom itself a little bit but will it be ok? Can they get scared to death? :(
