COOP / RUN ideas ? Cheap, quick, classy ?
Hi and - great to have you onboard. I'd strongly suggest going to the Coop section and see if there is anything there that inspires you. In terms of space, the minimum recommendations are: 4 sq ft per bird inside the coop, 10 sq ft per bird in the run and 1 ft roosting space. There are so many options to choose from and i believe that some members have included designs and material requirements.
The Learning Centre is a great resource, even for experienced chicken keepers - loads of info on anything chicken. http://www.backyardchickens.com/atype/1/Learning_Center and there are resources there on coops.
After a few posts you should be able to upload pics - its done to try and dissuade spammers etc.
Good luck with your coop build.
All the best
Excellent - you guys being in the construction business sure makes things easier! I'm sure you'll have a palace built in no time!
Be sure to post photos!

Sounds like you are off to a good start with the coop build. Please watch the dog around the chickens. It's best to keep them separated as too often dogs like to "play" with the birds and the birds end up injured or dead.
