I have a hen sitting on eggs and she has already killed 2 of her babies. I have saved a 3rd from death as soon as it hatched. I now have a 4th egg under her that has pipped. It's starting to get dark here and I'm worried about the baby. Can I remove the pipped egg and put it under the heat lamp I have in the brooder with the other babies I have. I'm afraid it will hatch during the night and she will kill it.
