Hi Friends,
I'm starting my coop this weekend, and I'm still trying to figure out how to get a dependable automatic door opener without spending the big bucks! I've seen the add-a-motor, but so many people say that theirs have broken and needed repairs.
My idea was to use an electric winch (http://www.amazon.com/dp/B000WW1QVI...UTF8&colid=30ZW2W618XKXQ&coliid=IVH7AUOJL7MTW), and set it on a timer. However, this would require some electrical work to convert the remote to a timer. I have ZERO electrical knowledge. Anyone have ideas on if/how this would work? I appreciate any ideas or suggestions!
